The system is ﬂexible and can be conﬁgured for different forms of care, for example orthopaedics and advanced medical care in the home. Common system The inbuilt pre-decided structure of examinations and medical record writing, together with step by step methodology makes it easy for the caregiver to introduce and develop a uniform and structured way of working. It also gives caregivers an increased sense of security knowing that they covered everything concerning the patient. With Swipecare they can quickly get started with the processes since most of them are built-in. The tool also has integrated professional support which gives even more on-site assistance. The same applies to manual checklists which have proved to be difﬁcult to implement, where SwipeCare’s inbuilt structure makes checklists a natural part of the work. Even following-up is easier since everything is documented. Write medical records faster Today writing medical records is a time consuming process where assessments are often dependent upon which doctor and department the patient visits. Since many records are ﬁrst dictated or handwritten, it often takes a long time before the notes appear in the collective medical record database. Patient-centric care The mobile implementation of the tool, together with the intuitive user-interface mean that it is also easier to go through the checklist together with the patient. You can even let the patient fill in the data him or herself which increases patient participation. Increased transparency With SwipeCare the patient can go in and see exactly what examinations the doctor has carried out and what the results were. The system can give the patient information in “ordinary language”, which markedly increases patient participation as well as transparency. More effective management process SwipeCare makes the medical record management process and the documentation of a patient's visit more efficient, and can be used by doctors when they work in different software and IT environments.
DPA - Swedish Data Protection Authority (DPA)
CHALLENGES Tetra Consulting in the UK provides specialist safety risk management services for property, people and the workplace. They work hard to be best-in-class in the areas of Health & Safety, Fire, Asbestos and Water. However, when inefficient paper-based processes caused unnecessary delays, they approached Strikersoft. When Tetra’s consultants went out to a site to do assessments, they had numerous paper-based checklists to fill in. Back at the office they entered the information into word documents, created reports, and then sent them on to Quality Assurance for approval. Once the final changes were made, it was only then that the final report could be sent to the client. Tetra’s first priority was the optimization and automization of their Water assessment process and their Health & Safety and Fire assessment process.
SOLUTIONS Strikersoft developed a complete end-to-end system including cloud-based servers, administration web, user interface with apps and a possibility to connect to outside contractors. Tetra’s consultants download the app to their tablets, and once on-site the consultant simply goes through all the relevant checklists on the tablet, and can even add notes and attach photos. With just a final click a preliminary report is created on the spot and can be given to the client at the end of the site visit. The report can even include a list of high priority items which the client can immediately start working on. Strikersoft is also working on an on-line property risk management solution, which is a value added service which Tetra will offer their clients. RESULTS The biggest time saving was in the writing and checking of the assessment reports. Instead of taking 2-4 hours maximum, the reports could be prepared in approximately 30 minutes. The consequences of these changes was a far more efficient use of consultant’s time, along with a vastly reduced administrative burden. The changes to data collection and report production also improved data consistency and report formatting across client property portfolios. -All of the implemented improvements enable our consultants to concentrate on serving our clients better, and thanks to the modern and efficient solutions developed by Strikersoft, Tetra’s consultants can handle the increasing demands of clients today without an increased workload, says Peter Moore, Managing Director, Tetra UK. The apps consisted of two assessment solutions that could be downloaded to a tablet: the Health & Safety and Fire app and the Water app.
The Apps: - Are easy to use and have an intuitive interface and can work off-line and even have the possibility to add photo and notes -Can produce instant preliminary on-site reports that can be given to the client. They can be synchronized with existing client plans and milestones once back at the office.
-New configurations can be easily added and even suggested consultant/client improvements can be easily implemented.
Benefits and Results:
-Tetra optimized their internal process by going from paper-based Health and Safety (H&S) and Fire assessments and paper-based water assessment solution to an assessment via an app on two separate tablets, one for H&S and Fire and one for Water.
-Tetra produce between 200 - 400 reports a month. Their most time consuming report is the report produced in connection with the Water assessment. In this case the time for the production of the report went from 2 - 4 hours maximum to 30 minutes.
-Because internal processes were automized and optimized Tetra’s consultants could handle increased client demands with the same number of consultants.
-Instead of sending finally approved reports in 2 weeks, Tetra could now send finally approved reports in 1-3 days in many cases. This meant a 50% improvement in overall final approved report turnaround time.
-The optimization and automatization of processes and the subsequent time savings has meant increased efficiency and huge cost savings for Tetra.
50% time savings
NDE Offshore is one of the leading diving and offshore services companies in Sweden, working globally with various tasks such as the welding and inspection of underwater installations. Just like in aviation, all parts of the diving equipment must be inspected and certified according to international standards.
Customers, as well as various supervisory bodies can carry out spontaneous inspections on the ships, and if the paperwork is not in order, they can shut the entire business down. Previously, the head office received mails from the ships after each equipment inspection. The information in the mails was then entered into a database, and the crew received a mail when it was time to service the equipment again. A tedious and time consuming process.
The new system provided by Strikersoft automated the process by providing a real-time visual presentation of the status of every piece of equipment on board the ships. The new system also enabled a more mobile way of working, with the ship’s technical manager writing the results of the equipment inspections directly into the system via a tablet.
There is approximately a 50% time savings at the head office when compared with the old system, and a corresponding 10-20% time savings on the ships. NDE Offshore’s customers have also benefited from the new system. During inspections they can see everything directly on the screen, instead of going through piles of binders full of paperwork, thus saving valuable time in their operations. CHALLENGES Conscriptor is Sweden’s largest outsourced medical transcription service provider, and each year their more than 200 medical secretaries write up to 2 million patient records, for over 4,000 doctors in hospitals and healthcare centres all over Sweden. However, when Conscriptor saw room for considerable improvements in the dictation process, which was cumbersome and lengthy, they looked for a partner who could understand their dilemma.
— Since Strikersoft worked with similar solutions and since we worked with them and their highly competent development team before on other eHealth projects, we were confident they could deliver what we wanted, it was a natural choice, says Henric Carlsson, Founder and CEO of Conscriptor.
The existing dictation process took up valuable time that could be better spent with the patients. On top of that the tools were stationary and outdated. Even Conscriptor’s medical secretaries were spending more time than necessary on the transcription process. Conscriptor wanted Strikersoft to develop a modern and mobile dictation solution, which would even speed up the transcription process.

SOLUTIONSStrikersoft developed 2 apps for Conscriptor, DictaSend and MedSpeech Air. DictaSend can be used by the medical professional when it is convenient for them, and since the solution is mobile then it is no longer necessary to do all the dictating at the desk. A login and password is provided by Conscriptor and as soon as the patient record has been dictated, it can be dispatched with just a few clicks to Conscriptor’s medical secretaries for transcription. In the case of MedSpeech Air, which is available for iOS and Android phones, when the medical professional logs in the latest patient record is displayed. The real-time speech-to-text function means that Conscriptor’s medical secretaries are provided with already transcribed information that they can adjust and verify.
RESULTS The most significant result is that medical professionals spend less time on administration and can spend more time with their patients. Since the eHealth apps are easy to use, and in the case of MedSpeech Air the latest approved patient information is always available, medical professionals can focus on the patient’s current questions, instead of searching for patient information. Since the transcription process has also been improved, even Conscriptor’s medical secretaries save time. With MedSpeech Air for example, it is possible for the medical professional to have a completed patient record in a day.

Increased system availability
CHALLENGE Telenor Satellite Broadcasting (TSBc) is a major European satellite provider of broadcast and data communication services for customers in the broadcast, maritime, and oil and gas markets.
The correct combination of video processing functions is vital to delivering high quality services to customers and the handling of the system should be as easy as possible for TSBc personnel.
RESULTS Strikersoft developed a system to help TSBc’s staff to more easily configure and maintain the video processing functions and services. The system implements new flexible business rules that ensure correct configuration. It also provides a powerful user interface that helps staff visualize the configuration, by predicting the effects of configuration changes. The system is also the source of billing information for TSBc’s customers.
Strikersoft delivered the system in increments which allowed TSBc to start using the system and to refine requirements during the project. In less than 6 months from project start, TSB was already enjoying the benefits.
