Shoo Away Skin Problems this Summer: Beauty tips
1. Shoo Away Skin Problems this summer
Who does not like to relax, have fun and stay cool during the summer? But when comes to
matching your steps with the changing temperature, your skin faces the brunt of the same.
Excessive sweating, pollution and dust make it a difficult for the skin to breathe through. This
result in tanning, rashness, pigmentation and several other problems that causes skin
darkening, irritation and causing a serious damage to the skin. Here’s a look at some of the skin
troubles:
Tanning: One of the most common problems that most people face is the darkening of their
skin better known as tanning, if you are fair in complexion, you have a higher chance of getting
tanned than those with whitish or darker complexion. In some cases, tanning lasts for a few
hours while in others, it can go be there on your skin for a few days as well, depending upon
your exposure to the sun. As area exposed to the sun gets darkened, it really looks bad when
you have to wear sleeveless and your skin shows two separate shades i.e. brighter and darker
skin.
In order to maintain a flawless beauty, make sure you apply sun screen to the uncovered area
of your body half an hour before you step out of your house. Also remember that it only lasts for
a few hours, so it is essentially to reapply that same at regular intervals. Though there are
excellent ways by which you can remove tanning but result don’t start showing over right. It can
take as long as a week.
Aloe Vera
2. One of the easiest and fastest remedies to reduce darkness due to tanning is to apply buttermilk
or DERMOSTANE. Aloe Vera also helps in reducing the skins discoloration. Cucumber, curd
and coconut water also works wonders on your skin.
Rashes: We all experience heat rashness of skin also known as prickly heat that causes
redness and patchy marks. They are caused by sweating and overheating during extremely hot
temperatures. Rashes occur when you are exposed to sunlight for a very long duration and lead
to constant itching. They can be in the t form of small reddish blisters or large spots. An easy
way to avoid it by staying indoors but if you can’t miss out of stepping outside, make sure you
cover face and body properly. You can also try performing outdoor duties when the sun has
gone down.
If you see small reddish spot appear, instantly rub an ice cube on the affected area and then
moisture it. Make sure to use a mint-based moisturizer as the mint acts as an instant coolant on
the skin and keep it refreshed. Heat rash can be prevented by using a higher SPF sun screen.
Besides this, stay hydrated in warm weather. A heat rash is an early indication of more serious
conditions such as heat stroke and heat exhaustion, which could also occur, so if a heat rash
develops, you should take the warning very seriously in order to prevent anything more serious
form happening, In case it increases, consult a doctor.
Sunburn: Too much exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet rays can result in the redness and pain
of sunburn. Sunburn usually appears within hours after sun exposure and may take weeks to
fade. The best way to avoid sunburn is to prevent it by using a broad-spectrum (blocks both
UVA and UVB rays) of at least SPF 30 and reapply every two three hours when in the sun and
immediately after swimming or sweating. Creams, lotions and gels offer much better protection
to the skin. Hats and sunglasses are also a must to protect ears and eyes.
If you get sunburn, the best treatment is a cool compress (like a washcloth in cool water) and a
light moisturizer can help reduce inflammation. Replace lost fluids with coconut water, fresh
vegetable and fruit juice and cold milk. Besides this you can also apply after sun moisturizing
and cooling creams-gel for face and body and aloe Vera to soothe irritations and hydrate your
skin. A cool bath can also alleviate burning but remember to use a gentle cleanser that is free of
chemicals. To relief sunburn and reduce redness, add 30 drops of lavender essential oil on
100ml of almond oil and apply on problem areas. Exposure to the sun must be avoided in all
circumstances.
DERMOSTANE anti dark spot cream helps to naturally and gently combat small age-related
pigment spots on the hands and face. It helps in Tanning, Rashes and Sunburn.
