  8. 8. In 1994, Titan Sports, Inc,(which would become WorldWrestling Entertainment)threatened to sue Fairey forusing the trademarked name“André the Giant.” Faireystopped using the name, butcreated this iconic image usingthe stecil style from his streetart. I’ll see all thiscommunist propaganda withits message and the powerbehind it. I’ll force myself tofind out motivation and theinspiration for the art. I readabout it, also, because I don’twant to seem like a dumb assnot knowing what I’m borrowingfrom or inspired by.”INTERNATIONAL TATTOO MAGAZINE, March 1999 (3) 2006, Street Art by Shepard Fairey
