  6. 6. SKIN CARE ROUTINEThe skin is the largest organ inour body, so we have to take y,good care of it because it reactsto emotional problems, to food inbad condition (or just food that ad co d o (o jus ood aour body doesn’t tolerate), toexternal agents (such as cold, sun, wind…), etc.I would like to point yourattention in t o very basic acts two ein order to look nice, but that noteverybody has as a daily routine:cleansing and moisturizing. l i d i t i iAnd all these advices go both for ggirls and for boys, because…don’t boys have skin, too?
  7. 7. CLEANSINGIt is completely necessary tocleanse our face (and alsoneck and neckline) in themorning and at night. At night it is evident(especially for girls): inorder to remove our makeup, but also to removepollution. But in the morningwe also must do it becauseduring the night we havebeen eliminating toxins(usually through our sweat)and our skin will be dirty, y,then the feared spots willappear and our skin willhave no brightness.
  8. 8. MOISTURIZINGMoisturizing is also a veryimportant act. It’ a musti t t t It’s tto moisture our skin twicea day (in the morning andat night). Each of us mustuse the one which issuitable for our type of ypskin, This is why it iscompletely essential thatyou know your skinperfectly, so you can knowwhich type of product itneeds in order it is brightand without imperfections.Let’s talk about it! Thereare 4 big groups:
  9. 9. TYPES OF SKIN•Dry skin: it is rare in youngpeople and quite usual i old l d it l in ldpeople. The is skin isdehydrated and it needs a lotof moisturizing. You feel ittaut and it chaps.•Normal skin: although itnames indicates just thecontrary, thi i not a very t this is tcommon type of skin. It’s the“perfect” skin: with noexcess of grease or dryness. It doesn’t give any problems, and it is rare in people under p p30 years old.
  10. 10. TYPES OF SKINCombination skin: this isthe most common type ofskin. It is normal in most ofthe face, but with grease atthe “T” or “V” zone andwith chapped skin in someparts of the face (as aroundthe mouth, or under theeyes, etc.). With open and t ) dvisible pores and withtendency to spots andimperfections.
  11. 11. TYPES OF SKINOily skin: it usual in very youngpeople. It is similar tocombination skin, but its maincharacteristic is that you feelyour face oily even when youget up (it doesn’t happen withcombination skin, with gets oily bi i ki i h ilas the day passes by). It needsa lot of care because of itstendency to spots, grease andimperfections, but if it’s undercontrol, it will take ages to look , gwrinkled.
  12. 12. SUN PROTECTIONI would also want to remarkthat it is very important touse sun protection, even inwinter, to be protectedwinteragainst the UVA and UBrays, which can causecancer ( (one of the most f hextended skin cancers iseyelid one!) or just spots, which make us older everthan wrinkles.
  13. 13. WEEKLY EXFOLIATIONBesides, it is totally necessarya weekly exfoliation, in orderto remove blackheads anddead cellules. It is alsoimportant for you to knowthat, without a cleansed, healthy and moisturized skinit is impossible to get a goodmake upup.
  14. 14. BODY SKIN CAREThese same tiTh tips can also b l beused for our body: wash it(but only maximum once aday with soap), moisturize iteveryday after the showerand exfoliate it once a week(then all the products we putafter exfoliation willpenetrate better and will actin a more efficient way(moisturizer, anticellulite, aftershave, etc.)aftershave etc ) and we willget a more uniform suntan.
