Weddings

  1. 1. UNIVERSIDAD CENTRO AMERICANA ENGLISH CURSES LEVEL X THE BUSINESS OF WEDDINGSTEACHER:FRANK VARGAS.BY:ROBERTO RUIZ SALVATIERRA. OCTOBER 2011
  2. 2. Let us be clear at the beginning. This is not a guide on how toplan a wedding, but rather on how to find information on thebusiness of weddings. The wedding industry is a large industry in terms of dollars, buttracking where that money is spent is more difficult for severalreasons.
  3. 3. First, many of the smallercomponents like caterers, DJs, andphotographers, wedding favors, invitations, etc. also do other eventswithout necessarily breaking theirbusiness down into wedding versusnon-wedding.Second, because some of theindividuals and businesses thatprovide services and products mayonly work part-time on wedding-related services to supplement theirincome or out of friendship, therewill either be a minimal charge or nocharge at all. Figures if there areany, will likely not be in any"industry" tally.
