    2. 2. INDUSTRIALREVOLUTION DEFINEIt started in the 1750’s and ended mid1800’s.It involved Great Britain, England,France, Germany and the United States.
    3. 3. MIGRATION Urbanization refers to a process in which an increasingproportion of an entire population lives in cities and the suburbs of cities An industry where the creation of products and services is home-based, rather than factory -based. There was a migration of people from rural to urban during the Industrial Revolution. An increased demand for workers led people to move from farms to cities.
    4. 4. AGRICULTURAL REVOLUTION The agricultural Revolution is when they startedgrowing crops in bulk, which lead to people wanting to make other things in bulk too. Crop Rotation means the planned order of specific crops planted on the same field.
    5. 5. TEXTILETextiles were the first things to boom in the industrial revolution. Textile is woven materials or clothing. The steam engine, cotton gin, and the loomed helped the textile industry boom. The cotton gin was created by Eli Whitney.
    6. 6. STEAM ENGINE It was invented in 1775 by Thomas Newcomen. It was the first ever engine built, it could work wayfaster than any human possibly could, and could make almost anything.James Watt is the one credited for improving the steam engine.
    7. 7. BESSEMER PROCESSAn inexpensive machine used for the massproduction of steel.It was created by Henry Bessemer.It decreased the cost of steel and increased theproduction.
    8. 8. PASTEURIZATION It was invented by Louis Pasteur, he also came up with the germ theory of disease. It kills bacterias that cause the spoilage of food, italso makes milk and other food sterol, leading them to last longer.
