2. PROJECT OVERVIEW
Winter in Quebec
The winter season plays a big part of quebec culture.
Although we have four seasons, more than half of the
year is dedicated to the winter season.
Many rituals and activities were created to occupy
and entertain people during the cold winter months.
Examples of winter activities that could be considered
as «traditional»:
ice
skating
ice
hockey
making
snowman
bulding igloos
and castles
with snow
snowball
fights
digging tunnels
in the snow
sliding on
toboggans
3. PROJECT OVERVIEW
In the past, kids used to play outside in the wintertime.
Today, this tradition is being lost and children tend to
interact less with others, becoming more sedentary
when it comes to playtime.
OBJECTIVE
encourage children
to have a new
appreciation for
winter
revisiting
playful
outdoor
activities
replace the
negative feeling
related to this season
(too long, too cold,
too harsh)
4. PROJECT SCOPE
