Here are Tips on how to put passion in teaching:• It’s about listening, questioning and being responsive.• Remembering that each student and class is different .• It’s about being human and respecting others.• It’s about observing professionalism at all times.• It’s about caring, nurturing and developing minds.
  3. 3. • Is about substance and treating students as consumers of knowledge.• It’s about eliciting responses and developing the oral communication skills of the quiet students.• It is about devoting time,often invisible,to every student.• Is about mentoring between senior and junior faculty,teamwork ,and being recognized and promoted by ones peers.• Its about getting only10 percent of what you wanted to do in a class done and still feeling good.
  4. 4. • It’s about being self-deprecating and not taking yourself too seriously.• Is about not always having a fixed agenda.• Bridging the gap between theory and practice.• It is about caring for your craft.• Doing so in manner that is relevant, meaningful and memorable.

Teaching is more than just a job, more than anintellectual challenge ,more than a management task,for whom vocation and commitment are essentialfeatures of their professionalism .It is for teacherswho are concerned through their work ,witheducation in its broader sense ,who acknowledge thatemotional engagement and care are essential to goodteaching ,who are committed to service ,and who are,have been or wish to be again ,passionate teachers.
