 Twitter – Quick message postings that are broadcast in 140 characters! ! Linkedin – Still the best business oriented social network! Google+ – A new social network but is fast growing! ! Quora – A social network created by users to answer questions of other users. ! Others that are worth looking at: Plaxo, Xing, Jigsaw, Spokeo, and Ning!

When talking to candidates or hiring managers, make sure you connect with them through Linkedin. ! ! The more people you connect with, the

 you to many others. ! ! Make sure you at least sign up with the 
 networks listed on the previous page. 
 Connect with your friends, co-workers, candidates and hiring managers. ! ! Social networks like Myspace or Youtube are not recommended to sign up with, though corporations looking to hire Gen-Y candidates will often create video postings and broadcast them on YouTube.!
