How it works Kids receive Fitness Trackers Launch –Day 1 Before launch Participate in Fun Games (Physical) Kids receive their own fitness tracker booklet • Parents receive a survey related to physical activity • Fly Movement meets with school administrators & shares program project timeline Fly Movement is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation.
- 4. How it works: Benchmark Period Benchmark Period – 14 days 1. Students are encouraged to wear the fitness trackers at school and at home 2. Kids are NOT AWARE of any competition or goal to try and achieve 3. Fitness activity is tracked and shared with school administrators and via Fly Movement’s newsletter and social media outlets Fly Movement is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation.
- 5. How it works: Challenge Announced Challenge Announced – Day 15 1. Fly Movement informs students about challenge – i.e. classroom vs classroom 2. Kids learn that if their classroom wins (achieving more fitness moves), they receive a prize Fly Movement is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation.
- 6. How it works: During the Program Fly Movement is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation. We visit & motivate the kids to be active as well as talk about the importance of physical fitness Monitor fitness activity data, assist school administrators as needed Communicate the success of the program and engage community via newsletters, flyers, and social media 6 Weeks
- 7. Results: What the kids get Results 1. Kids develop a more favorable affinity towards physical activity 2. Students develop stronger social, team collaboration, and goal-oriented skills 3. - 8. Results: Detailed Reports Detailed Reports 1. Fitness moves, miles and steps are tracked on a daily, weekly and overall program level 2. Data can be used to share insights and best practices among Teachers and schools Fly Movement is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation.
- 9. Results: Post Survey Post Survey 1. The same survey that was sent to parents before program launch is resent 30 days after the program ends 2. Feedback from school administrators, parents and kids Fly Movement is a nonprofit 501(c)3 corporation.
