What is the Tin Can or Experience API (xAPI)? • Tracks experiences, scores, progress, teams, virtual media, real-world experiences (not just completions) – the learning activity stream • Allows data storage AND retrieval (ex. 3rd party reporting and analytics tools) • Enables tracking mobile, game, and virtual world experiences • And it’s open source!
