Situatie EO als omroep
• De EO is een missionaire omroep in de
context van de Nederlandse Publieke
Omroep (NPO)
• Maken van audiovisuele content (audio,
video) staat centraal
• Mediagebruik: daar zijn waar het publiek is
Belangrijke ontwikkelingen
• Video op verzoek: EO webTV
• Mediagebruik wordt multi-scherm
(TV, PC, laptop, smartphone, tablet, ….)
• Internet en TV raken steeds meer verweven
• Sociale netwerken
Sociale media bij de EO
• Direct contact met kijkers en luisteraars
(sociaal TV kijken/radio luisteren)
• EO-presentatoren en medewerkers delen op
een authentieke en veelkleurige manier iets van
hun leven als christen
• Christenen (in Nederland en België) gebruiken
EO-content in hun eigen sociale omgeving
(thuis, onderweg, op school, internet)
• Zoekers vinden relevante EO-content en worden
aangemoedigd om contact met andere zoekers
en christenen te leggen
