Innovative Gas Monitoring URG 9000 Series Ambient Ion Monitor This advanced Ion Monitor is available in four configurations providing time resolved direct measurements of nitrate, sulphate and ammonium, HCI, HNO3, HNO2, SO2 and NH3. All four configurations incorporate several state-of-the-art components for sample collection as well as ease of use, requiring as little as four litres of deionized water for 10 sampling days. • The ion chromatograph (IC) separates the nitrate and sulphate ions so measurements are not affected by other nitrogen containing compounds • Losses due to volatilization are eliminated because the particles are collected in a solution and then analysed by ion chromatography • The detection limit is 0.05ug per cubic metre and can be less depending on which ion is being measured • A Windows-based programme is used by the AIM to display and store data Picarro CRDS Analyers Using state-of-the-art cavity ringdown spectroscopy, (CRDS) Picarro analysers offer super-fast response times and extremely low detection limits. In addition they are simple to use and small enough to use in the field rather than in the laboratory. Picarro CRDS analysers are used throughout the world in atmospheric research stations for trace gas and isotopic gas speciation applications. • Atmospheric flux monitoring of CO , H O, CH 2 2 4 • Isotopic CO and H O 2 2 • Fast response (<10sec) measurement of NH 3 and H2S to sub ppb levels
