Inspiriert durch lebhafte Diskussionen auf dem DOAG DevCamp 2014 in München zum Thema „Welches Entwicklungswerkzeug ist denn für meine Projekte sinnvoll ?“ möchte der Vortrag anhand weitläufig verbreiteter Thesen die einzelnen Entwicklungswerkzeuge APEX, ADF und Forms aus Sicht des Dozenten bewerten. Im Vortrag werden Aspekte des Softwareentwicklungsprozesses - insbesondere hinsichtlich der Nutzung von Oracle Technologien - dargestellt und jeweils mit dem entsprechenden Entwicklungswerkzeug beleuchtet. Praxisrelevante Kriterien wie Migration, Werkzeugkette, Lernkurve, Zielgruppe u.a. werden vorgestellt und sollen dem Zuhörer Argumente an die Hand geben, die richtige Auswahl der Werkzeuge für seine Softwareprojekte zu geben.
