  7. 7. 7 1. Mimi goes shopping This is Mimi’s house… …and this is Mimi’s bed.
  8. 8. 8 It is morning. Mimi climbs out of bed… …and into Mama and Daddy’s bed.
  9. 9. 9 Everyone has a lovely family cuddle together. Then it is time to get up. ‘Get up!’, shouts Mimi.
  10. 10. 10 Everyone eats cereal for breakfast. Mimi waves goodbye to Daddy as he leaves for work.
  11. 11. 11 Mimi asks Mama for a yogurt drink. Unfortunately, there are none left in the fridge.
  12. 12. 12 ‘We can buy some more yogurt drinks when we go shopping’, says Mama. They get ready to go shopping. Mimi is fastened into her car seat.
  13. 13. 13 Mama drives the car to the shop. In the shop, Mimi sits in the trolley.
  14. 14. 14 There are lots of strange people to see. After looking around, Mimi would like to get out and walk.
  15. 15. 15 She sees something interesting in the shelf. A pair of rubber gloves to put in the trolley.
  16. 16. 16 Mama does not need any rubber gloves... …but she does need some baking paper. Mimi puts the baking paper into the trolley.
  17. 17. 17 The yogurt drinks are on this shelf. Mimi takes one… …and carefully puts it into the trolley.
  18. 18. 18 Mama lifts Mimi back into the trolley. Then Mama pays for the shopping before leaving.
  19. 19. 19 Back home, Mimi helps to unpack the shopping… …and then drinks her yogurt drink. Yummy!
  20. 20. 20 Later, Daddy arrives back from work… …and everyone has dinner together.
  21. 21. 21 ‘I would like some ketchup’, says Daddy. ‘Go shopping!’, replies Mimi. THE END.
  22. 22. 22 2. Mimi and the Exhibition Daddy, Mama and Mimi are waiting for a bus. The bus arrives…
  23. 23. 23 …and Mama buys tickets for everyone. Mimi can see the hills out of the bus window.
  24. 24. 24 The bus arrives in the city… …and Mimi climbs into the pushchair.
  25. 25. 25 Mama pushes the pushchair up the hill. At the exhibition, Daddy pays for entry tickets.
  26. 26. 26 Mimi looks into the strange kaleidoscope… …and waves to herself!
  27. 27. 27 Everyone continues up the stairs… …to find themselves in the stars!
  28. 28. 28 What a strange picture. Are these lines straight? The shadow machine is next.
  29. 29. 29 Click! The machine takes a picture of Mimi and Daddy’s shadow! Mimi finds some pretend cartoon fish…
  30. 30. 30 …which swim away! Come back! Another strange picture. Can you find the black dots?
  31. 31. 31 Mimi presses a button... …and the little man dances in the mirrors.
  32. 32. 32 Daddy has long arms and short legs in this mirror, but in this mirror he has long legs and short arms!
  33. 33. 33 Mama is as short as Mimi in this mirror, but Mimi is as tall as Daddy in this mirror!
  34. 34. 34 One can see across the city on the rooftop… …and over here is the castle.
  35. 35. 35 In the gift shop, Mimi sees a ruler she wants. Mama buys the ruler for Mimi.
  36. 36. 36 It is time to go home. On the way, they see a clown doing tricks. Ho ho, silly clown!
  37. 37. 37 Soon, the bus arrives after such an exciting day… …and Mimi falls asleep on the way home. THE END.
  38. 38. 38 Mimi is going to kindergarten. Here are Polly and Lucy. 3. Mimi goes to Kindergarten
  39. 39. 39 Mimi waves goodbye to Mama. At kindergarten there are lots of fun things to do.
  40. 40. 40 Mimi goes in one side of the tunnel… …and comes out the other end.
  41. 41. 41 Mimi wants to play with the blocks too, but the boy takes the blocks from Mimi.
  42. 42. 42 Mimi is not happy. Polly says that they must share the blocks and play together nicely.
  43. 43. 43 Mimi starts to build a tower… …and the boy helps.
  44. 44. 44 Next, Mimi wants to paint a picture. She enjoys painting.
  45. 45. 45 Lucy asks what she is painting. ‘A clown’ replies Mimi. Soon, it is time for a snack.
  46. 46. 46 Mimi eats some apple and a cracker. When she is finished she goes back through the tunnel…
  47. 47. 47 …and out the other end. Finally, it is song time.
  48. 48. 48 Incy Wincy spider climbed up the spout. Down came the rain and washed spider out. Out came the sunshine…
  49. 49. 49 …and dried up all the rain, so Incy Wincy spider climbed up the spout again. Mama arrives to collect Mimi.
  50. 50. 50 ‘Mimi went to kindergarten today’, Mama tells Daddy. ‘All by myself’, adds Mimi.
  51. 51. 51 After dinner, Mimi climbs the stairs… …and gets the toilet ready.
  52. 52. 52 Mimi gets on the step… …and sits down.
  53. 53. 53 ‘Finished’, shouts Mimi. ‘All by myself’, says Mimi proudly. THE END.
  54. 54. 54 Mimi is going swimming with Mama, but Daddy must stay at home to paint. Mama drives the car to the swimming pool. 4. Mimi goes Swimming
  55. 55. 55 Mama pays to enter the swimming pool. ‘One adult and one child’, she says. Time to put on the swimming costumes.
  56. 56. 56 Mama puts the clothes into a locker… …but where did Mimi go?
  57. 57. 57 Oops – there she is! Mama and Mimi take a shower.
  58. 58. 58 Mama lifts Mimi into the swimming pool. Ring-a-ring o’ roses, a pocket full of posies…
  59. 59. 59 …a-tishoo! A-tishoo! We all jump up! Mimi swims a little by herself…
  60. 60. 60 …and then a little more… …and then a little more, all the way to the edge! Well done Mimi!
  61. 61. 61 Humpty dumpty sat on a wall… …Humpty dumpty had a great fall! Splash!
  62. 62. 62 Mimi is at the top of the slide. One, two, three, wheeeee – splash! Now Mimi is at the bottom of the slide.
  63. 63. 63 Mama finds a float to play with. Saddle up, to ride the horse.
  64. 64. 64 Clip clop. Gee-up horsey! Mimi wants to go in the Jacuzzi.
  65. 65. 65 Mama and Mimi climb in. It is very bubbly in the Jacuzzi. The bubbles feel very funny.
  66. 66. 66 Time to get dried and dressed. Daddy has finished the painting.
  67. 67. 67 Mimi gets a cushion from the sofa. She is driving the bus. Brrm brrm. Daddy catches the bus.
  68. 68. 68 Brrm, Brrrm, the bus continues. Mama gets on too.
  69. 69. 69 Brrm, Brrrrrm, bump ahead! ‘Where is the bus going?’, asks Mama. ‘The swimming pool for Daddy’, replies Mimi. THE END.

  91. 91. 91 Daddy digs up some weeds. Mimi helps to tidy the weeds.
  92. 92. 92 Next, Daddy digs a hole… …and Mimi plants a bulb in it.
  93. 93. 93 Mimi helps to bury the bulb. A flower will grow here later. Mimi follows Daddy in her car.
  94. 94. 94 Daddy has some grass seed for Mimi. Mimi helps to sow the grass seed.
  95. 95. 95 ‘Bath time Mimi. You are mucky from the garden’, says Mama. Mimi gets undressed for her bath.
  96. 96. 96 In the bath there are lots of bubbles. Mimi makes a bubble beard, just like Daddy’s.
  97. 97. 97 Mama also gets a bubble beard. Splash, Splash! Mimi likes to splash.
  98. 98. 98 Ker-splash! Mama gets a soaking. Mama washes Mimi’s hair with shampoo.
  99. 99. 99 Mimi closes her eyes when the shampoo is rinsed off. Now, for a swim.
  100. 100. 100 All the way to the other end of the bath. Plop! Mimi pulls the plug in the bath.
