  2. 2. <ul><li>New Year! </li></ul><ul><li>New Year is celebrated on 1st January. People welcome New Year at mindnight. We drink champage and shoot bangers. </li></ul>
  3. 3. <ul><li>On 21 January we celebrate Grandma’s Day . In nursey schools and other schools it is organized </li></ul><ul><li>a show for grandparents. Granchildren sing songs and say poems. </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>Grandfather’s Day . </li></ul><ul><li>This day is celebrated on22th January. </li></ul><ul><li>Grandfathers receive wishes and presents from children and grandchildren. Every granfather is pride and satisfy. </li></ul>
  5. 5. <ul><li>Valentine’s Day. </li></ul><ul><li>Valentine’s Day is celebrated on 14th February every year. Shopping centres and shop windows are full of decorations: </li></ul><ul><li>-red hearts, soft toys - usually teddy bears, special greeting cards, chocolate and sweets in heart shape boxes. People usually write poems on cards which </li></ul><ul><li>are sent on ,,Valentine’s Day”. Children often make cards for friends and their family. Adults buy special cards for people they love. It is a very special day, because it is the time when we can tell sameone how much we like her or him. </li></ul>

  8. 8. <ul><li>Mum’s Day - 26th May. </li></ul><ul><li>On this special day every child wishes all the best to his mother and gives many kisses. </li></ul>
  9. 9. <ul><li>Child’s Day. </li></ul><ul><li>This day is celebrated on April all over the world. On this day children are very happy and they smile. </li></ul>
  10. 10. <ul><li>Boy’s Day. </li></ul><ul><li>The Boy’s Day is celebrated on 30 September. They receive small presents and sweets. It is a special day for all boys. </li></ul>
  11. 11. <ul><li>Teacher’s Day . </li></ul><ul><li>This day is celebrated on 14th October. Each teacher has a holiday on this day. Everyone is happy. Teachers all over the world receive flowers, wishes and small souvenirs from students. </li></ul>
  12. 12. <ul><li>Christmas - </li></ul><ul><li>It is a very special day, because it is </li></ul><ul><li>a day of Christ’s birth. We celebrate it on 27th Dcember. People go to the church on mindnight mass. We eat Christmas dinner. Main dishes are: </li></ul><ul><li>-carp in tomato sauce, </li></ul><ul><li>-mishmash, </li></ul><ul><li>-herin with cream, </li></ul><ul><li>-dumplings with cabbage and fungus, </li></ul><ul><li>-beetroot soup, </li></ul><ul><li>and cakes: </li></ul><ul><li>-ginger bread, </li></ul><ul><li>-popyseed cake, </li></ul><ul><li>-chesscake. </li></ul><ul><li>There are twelve dishes at Christmas. We decoreate the Christmas </li></ul><ul><li>Tree. Later Father Christmas comes. Children receive presets. </li></ul>
