  • FredCurrent Eligibility- For most part, anyone in education will fit into 1- Bachelors in “Rehab Science:”assistive technology, audiology, medicine, nursing, low vision rehabilitation, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech language pathology, special education, vocational rehabilitation, engineering (biomedical, clinical, or rehabilitation), ergonomics or related curricula.

  • DANIf you are attempting to qualify for certification with a high school diploma, you must submit your diploma or GED, and documentation demonstrating you have completed at least 30 contact hours of training in assistive technology in the past. Examples of AT training include continuing education courses, seminars, manufacturers’ training sessions. Documentation must specify the number of contact hours earned and be signed by the training administrator

The Professional Standards Board provides oversight of RESNA’s Certification Program. 5

The day of your exam• Ensure that your given name (first name) and surname (last name) in My Credentials matches the given name and surname on the identification you will present at the test center• To change or cancel your exam appointment you must do so through Prometric no later than midnight on the third day before your scheduled examination. All exam appointments cancelled/rescheduled 30 days or less before the examination date are charged a $50 fee. If you do not receive a new confirmation number from Prometric, contact them immediately to confirm that your appointment has been successfully cancelled/rescheduled 23
