Internal/External Affairs <ul><li>Internal Affairs </li></ul><ul><li>Any activity/event that will involve members within the Cebu Bloggers Society (CBS) circle. </li></ul><ul><li>External Affairs </li></ul><ul><li>- Any activity/event that needs participation/presence of Cebu Bloggers Society outside the group’s internal endeavors. </li></ul>Committee Proposals

A1 SOP <ul><li>All proposed events for CBS must be submitted to the Events committee for approval. </li></ul><ul><li>Any CBS member who suggested the event must course all necessary information (contacts and details) to the committee for review and must at least verify on first hand the authenticity/validity of the event. </li></ul><ul><li>Proposed Events must be posted under the EVENTS thread of the site’s official forum corner ONLY . Will be coordinated to our Content Management Committee. </li></ul>
  5. 5. A1 SOP Continuation … <ul><li>After all essential details have been verified, the committee will put an approval stamp on the posted event. Example: “This event is approved by the Events committee” (temporary workaround) </li></ul><ul><li>The Committee has the right to reject proposed events if SOP are not met. If the proposed EVENT is URGENT in nature, it may be posted directly under the EVENTS thread but the committee can request it to be deleted if it’s deemed null and void. </li></ul><ul><li>Any Events Committee member may make the approval stamp after all information are verified (for strict compliance) </li></ul>
  6. 6. <ul><li>Any agenda like formal meetings, conference, town hall meetings, conventions, round table meet-ups, trips, parties, invitations, blog summits, etc. must be approved by the committee for as long as it involves the reputation of CBS as a whole. </li></ul><ul><li>Minor meet-ups like informal group or personal meetings or mini-eyeballs (EB) by CBS members will be tolerated for as long as it will not put CBS into jeopardy. This will be posted in any applicable threads of the forum excluding EVENTS thread. </li></ul>A1 SOP Continuation …

A1.1 Events Organization This would concern INTERNAL endeavors. <ul><li>Venue - The committee has the right to approve/reject the proposed set place or location of any meeting as suggested by the coordinator and other CBS committees or in case the group can not agree on one venue, the EVENTS committee will decide asap as long as statistical data are provided that would complement the decision made. </li></ul><ul><li>**open for discussion** </li></ul>
  8. 8. A1.1 Events Organization Continuation… <ul><li>Date - The day mentioned in the proposal. The committee will make sure the majority of whoever will be involved for will be able to attend or execute their physical presence. It is recommended that submission of proposed dates will be done a week or more before the final day. </li></ul><ul><li>Time - The duration specified in the proposal. If not sure, estimated time must be indicated to weigh accessibility to the venue. </li></ul>
  9. 9. <ul><li>Resources - Any paraphernalia or materials needed for the event must be specified. The committee has to make sure that no hazardous/dangerous tools (deadly weapons, knives, scissors, pointed and sharp objects, poison, etc.) will be involved that would risk the health and safety of any CBS members or other persons. </li></ul><ul><li>**PRO-LIFE** </li></ul>A1.1 Events Organization Continuation…

Communication Packets <ul><li>Internal communication for committee members will be sent thru email notification, private messaging (PM) within the forum, short message service (SMS), messenger tools (like Yahoo messenger, SKYPE, Google Talk, Windows live messenger, etc.), plurk, twitter, blogger’s chat box and telephone/fax service whichever is applicable. </li></ul>

  13. 13. Communication Ethics Each EVENTS committee member should practice good communication ethics and not to abuse or use it in any form that might put the committee or any member of CBS in jeopardy. Governmental Laws and Ordinances will still be observed.

Committee Tasks <ul><li>Promotions </li></ul><ul><li>The committee is in charge of promoting Cebu Bloggers Society (CBS) as a whole in coordination with other committees of the group. </li></ul><ul><li>Foster or encourage members to present activities that would highlight or feature CEBU region and it’s local endeavors and for the CBS group. </li></ul>

Committee Tasks Continuation … <ul><li>Advertising </li></ul><ul><li>Withholding the art of blogging and all its aspect to promote CEBU as whole and CBS as well. </li></ul><ul><li>To assure that the participation or involvement of CBS will be for the benefit of the group and CEBU itself as well as the Visayan region. </li></ul><ul><li>To deliver vital information to the members of the group. </li></ul>
  16. 16. * C1. Committee Tasks Continuation… <ul><li>Marketing and Branding </li></ul><ul><li>Serves as liaison to external links and affairs of the group. The core contact of information of CBS. </li></ul><ul><li>To respond and filter out to any invitations/requests that may require the presence of members of CBS or the group itself in tv, radio, print and other forms of media. </li></ul><ul><li>ID cards and other credentials of members must be presented or suggested as a prerequisite in any event organized by the committee or to be attended by CBS (if applicable and/or required by the External events). </li></ul>

Directives of the Committee This is for the members of the Events Committee <ul><li>It is expected that each member will participate at least one time in meetings, round table meet-ups, emergency gatherings that might need special attention by the committee. </li></ul><ul><li>Any committee member that is deemed inactive might be requested to leave the committee or may give a public statement. </li></ul><ul><li>Any committee member that is reported to be abusive, offensive or any relation to such acts might be ousted from the committee after judicial process has been released. </li></ul><ul><li>(CBS By Laws will still be observed.) </li></ul>
