G+ how to use it

  2. 2. Logging in <ul><li>This is in close association with Google. Meaning when you log in with your Gmail, you’re in. </li></ul><ul><li>Also can be accessed through the Google homepage or while searching. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Creation <ul><li>If you don’t have a Gmail, get one. Once that is complete it will bring you to a page that ask you to fill out some information. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Setting up profile <ul><li>To begin to set up your profile just click on the profile button. </li></ul><ul><li>On the profile page click on the ‘edit profile button’ </li></ul><ul><li>Fill in the personal; information you wish to tell and display such as intro, occupation, employment, education etc. </li></ul><ul><li>Be sure to open the search visibility: it will help your friends etc. find you and allow Google to index your page. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Adding photos <ul><li>Also has a instant mobile photo upload feature </li></ul><ul><li>Also displays photos from people in your circle </li></ul>
  6. 6. Adding Contacts (Circles) <ul><ul><li>This allows you to organize all of your contacts into specific groups or categories: Friends, Family, Colleagues, Acquaintances, etc. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><ul><ul><li>Intended for information to be shared to only those you choose. </li></ul></ul></ul></ul><ul><li>Google+ will find and match people using your email database </li></ul>

Video Chatting (Hangouts) <ul><li>This is basically a virtual chat room where you can video chat with people in your circles </li></ul><ul><li>Instead of directly adding one of your connections to join you in a video chat, you instead click &quot;Start A Hangout&quot; and a message will go out to your Circles letting them know that you are interested in &quot;hanging out.“ </li></ul><ul><li>Once you click the button it will ask you to download the software. </li></ul>
  8. 8. Games <ul><li>Like Facebook has various amounts of games in which users can play </li></ul>
  9. 9. Stream <ul><ul><li>On your main screen you can view the post made by your friends along with their activity </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>In the news feed you can mouse over the title and choose to follow it </li></ul></ul>
  10. 10. Posting <ul><li>Similar to the Facebook wall you can post, pictures, videos, links, places. </li></ul><ul><li>Also you can create pages where you can promote business or clubs etc. </li></ul>

  12. 12. Account Settings Pt. 2 <ul><ul><li>The Products Google+ is connected with various side projects like iGoogle and YouTube. </li></ul></ul><ul><ul><li>Also allows you to backup feed with the Data Liberation feature. </li></ul></ul>
