How does a nation of 5,000 people spread across a territory the size of Yellowstone National Park create a map of their land? On June 9, 2017, I shared the incredible story of how the Waorani nation of Ecuador are facing external threats such as oil drilling by undertaking a participatory mapping process to create a map "full of things that don't have a price."
