addition to his career, Emblez Longoria
remains involved in a number of charitable
organizations, including the Salvation Army
and Goodwill Industries International, Inc.

Goodwill Industries International, Inc., is
made up of 165 independent Goodwill
locations across the United States and Canada
that offer job training and employment
placement to those with disabilities or those
who lack education or job experience. In
2012 alone, more than 216,000 individuals
obtained employment through their
involvement in a Goodwill program.

In November of 2013, Goodwill Industries
International partnered with the University of
Phoenix to train workers in some of America's
underserved communities. The University of
Phoenix offered Goodwill employees reduced
tuition for degree programs, certification
programs, and professional development
courses. The goal of the partnership is to provide
opportunities for the individuals participating in
the programs with necessary skills to compete in
today's competitive market.
