Conference and Expo
A certified security trainer and manager, Emblez Longoria brings over 20 years of
experience in the industry to his role as the senior security consultant serving Verizon
Communications’ headquarters in Baskin Ridge, New Jersey. Further, Emblez Longoria
worked with ASIS International, which oversees certification programs for the security
industry, serving on its professional certification board.

3. ASIS International’s New York City Security
Conference and Expo
ASIS International holds a number of events throughout the year, including its New York
City Security Conference and Expo. Held annually, the 2017 event will mark the 27th
iteration and is anticipated to bring together over 2,500 security professionals. Attendees
are offered the opportunity to network and engage with professional from both the private
and public sectors, in addition to learning more about leading-edge security technology
and pressing industry issues.

Conference and Expo
The conference, which will be held between June 7th and 8th, will also honor the ASIS
NYC Person of the Year at a special luncheon. New York police commissioner James P.
O’Neill will be the 2017 recipient.
