2. Introduction
As a senior security consultant and core employee with Verizon
Communications, Emblez Longoria is responsible for the protection of
company assets and management of security resources. In addition
to his certification in security management and training, he is actively
engaged in security organizations such as ASIS International. Emblez
Longoria contributed to the examination content as part of the
professional certification board at ASIS International.

3. ASIS International is a global organization that joins security
professionals from all around the world who aim to advance their
career. The organization offers various services such as educational
programs and events to support security experts from various
industries.

4. In November 2020, ASIS International launched a special grant
program to support struggling security professionals whose jobs
were negatively affected by the coronavirus pandemic. More than
120 grants totaling more than $100,000 were offered to ASIS
members to facilitate their membership renewal for free.
Additionally, more than 20 percent of awarded grants were used to
access online certification study programs.
