  2. 2.  Only 77% of cardboard can be recycled. But not all of the cardboard is recycled. There are two kinds of cardboard:  Corrugated, which has a wavy line in between two pieces and looks like a sandwich.  It is used to make boxes.
  3. 3.  The second type of cardboard is:  Paperboard is made of a single sheet of cardboard. A person should recycle when the cardboard is not used anymore.
  4. 4.  When the cardboard is really deteriorated. Do not recycle cardboard that is soiled with grease.  Such as pizza boxes Do not recycle cardboard that has wax or glue.
  5. 5.  Cardboards that are in good conditions.  Not torn  Not greased  Not waxed Be sure to flatten the cardboard box before you take it to a recycling center.
  6. 6.  First the cardboard is turned into pulp and it is washed down to get rid of dirt and ink. This happens in a mill. Then the mill mixes the pulp with wood chips.
  7. 7.  After, machines dry and flatten the pulp. It turns into a mixture that is used to make cardboard boxes. Finally, this mixture is sent to manufacturing plants so that new boxes can be made.
