By the age of eight, he was drawing and painting
with anything he could get his hands on:
watercolors, pen and ink, and fingerpainting.

In 1979, Britto had his first art show.
Despite having sold many paintings, Britto still
was not not sure he could be successful as
an artist.
6. Boom Fish
Britto entered law school in 1979. He soon
realized he could not continue down this path. He
sold his car and headed to Europe to study and
paint.
7. Home Sweet Home
In 1987, Britto visited some friends in Florida. Soon after
he decided to open his own studio.
