  13. 13. WAY FORWARD  Enactment of Metro Acts Central Metro Acts for construction, operation and maintenance of Lucknow Metro Rail Project extended to “Lucknow Metropolitan Area” by MoUD.  Depot  Government land identified on Kanpur Road; in process of being transferred.
  14. 14. WAY FORWARD  Formation of SPV  ‘Lucknow Metro Rail Corporation’ (LMRC) incorporated under Companies Act.  Authorised share capital – Rs 2000 cr.  No. of Directors: 14 (incl. 4 functional)  50:50 equity sharing by GoI and GoUP.
  15. 15. WAY FORWARD  Funding of SPV  Funding through Central and State equity and loaning from multilateral agencies.  Initial funds (Innovative financing) by LDA - 100 Cr.  UPAVP – 200 Cr.  UPSIDC - 50 Cr.  State Govt to provide equity
  16. 16. WAY FORWARD  Logo for SPV  Active public participation for designing the ‘logo’ for LMRC. Overwhelming response with over 3,000 entries and 1,500 mails.  The best logo will be awarded.  The selection process in on, and the final logo will be unveiled soon.
  17. 17. WAY FORWARD  Administration of SPV  Modern office of Metro Cell/ LMRC functional in Janpath Market, Hazratganj with 3400 sq.ft. of floor space.
