  6. 6. <ul><li>Fire Evacuation- know what to do </li></ul><ul><li>Follow all instructions given to you by the nearest member of staff </li></ul><ul><li>Evacuate the building calmly and quietly using the nearest exit </li></ul><ul><li>Go to the designated assembly point on King Edward Street near the entrance to Oceana nightclub </li></ul><ul><li>Remain at the designated assembly point and follow the instructions of the fire marshals </li></ul><ul><li>DO NOT re-enter the building until you are told it is safe to do so by the lead fire marshal </li></ul><ul><li>Please note- if evacuating from the new Beck Street extension, leave via the courtyard exit onto Beck Street, then make your way to the CONFETTI FIRE ASSEMBLY POINT on King Edward Street </li></ul><ul><li>In order to evacuate safely, always follow the instructions given to you by the nearest member of staff. </li></ul>
  7. 8. <ul><li>What to ask a question? </li></ul><ul><li>There is a sign on the door of the main Tutor Office reminding you to not knock on the door. Please respect this request. </li></ul><ul><li>If you would like to get in touch with your personal tutor, please ask for them by name at reception. </li></ul><ul><li>Reception will then call to check if they are in the office for you. </li></ul>
  8. 9. <ul><li>Keep your café clean </li></ul><ul><li>Please help us to keep the café looking </li></ul><ul><li>by reminding each other to always use the bins. </li></ul><ul><li>Don’t allow those around you to make the café an unpleasant place to be. </li></ul>less like this… and more like this…

  10. 11. <ul><li>Changes to Late Slips </li></ul><ul><li>Late slips now have a new section for you to complete. </li></ul><ul><li>The ‘Reason for lateness’ box on the reverse of the slip and must be completed before handing the slip to your tutor. </li></ul><ul><li>Reasons will be monitored so that we can offer support and advice for persistent lateness. </li></ul>
  11. 12. <ul><li>Castle Radio </li></ul><ul><li>  </li></ul><ul><li>The new Castle College AM Radio Station is to be set up to run along the lines of a Student Union society. This gives Confetti students many exiting opportunities in terms of helping to run the station and providing or developing content for transmission. </li></ul><ul><li>If you’re interested in helping to run the Radio Station please email [email_address] for more information </li></ul>

Haile Selassie was the Emperor of Ethiopia. Rastas believe Haile Selassie is God, and that he will return to Africa members of the black community who are living in exile. </li></ul><ul><li>Fri 23 Apr- St George's Day (Christian ) </li></ul><ul><li>Saint George is the patron saint of England. </li></ul><ul><li>Thu 29 Apr- Ridvan - ninth day (Bahai ) </li></ul><ul><li>Marks the arrival of Baha'u'llah's family at the Ridvan garden. </li></ul>
