Healthcare is going through a dramatic transformation. This represents a tremendous opportunity for MongoDB and other NoSQL platform vendors as Healthcare organizations grapple with ballooning data feeds and an explosion in new data formats as a result of social media and personal monitoring devices. The Healthcare industry needs to move beyond 0.5% patient engagement and embrace patient generated data. This will be an enormous data challenge.
