  1. 1. MY RECIPE: ROQUEFORT PEAR SALADINGREDIENTS:for the dressing:Lettuce 1/3 cup olive oil3 pears (peeled and chopped) 1 1/2 white sugar5 ounces Roquefort cheese 1 ½ teaspoons prepared mustard1 avocado (peeled and diced) 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar½ cup sliced green onions 1 clove garlic (chopped)¼ white sugar ½ teaspoon salt½ pecans fresh black pepperDirections1. Stir 1/4 cup of sugar with the pecans. When the pecans are caramelized, put the nuts on thewaxed paper. Cool it, and break into pieces.2. For the dressing: mix oil, vinegar, 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar, mustard, chopped garlic, salt, and pepper.3. In a big bowl, layer lettuce, pears, blue cheese, avocado, and green onions.
