Comparative adjectives• Short adjectives usually end in –ER. e.g. older, newer• Long adjectives usually have MORE or LESS in front of them, e.g. more expensive• Comparative adjectives are often followed by the word THAN• We can use MORE and FEWER or LESS with nouns; we use FEWER with countable nouns and LESS with uncountable nouns.
  9. 9. SUPERLATIVE adjectives• We form a superlative by adding –EST to the end of short words and putting THE before it. E.g The biggest theme park is Disney World in Florida• Longer adjectives have THE MOST or THE LEAST in front of them. E.g. Tokyo Disneyland is the most popular theme park in the world.
