  2. 2. • In its most recent effort to provide 3G wireless high speed service to all of Afghanistan’s major cities by the end of 2015, the Afghan Wireless Communication Company (AWCC) extended its 3G high speed network services to Helmand Province.
  3. 3. According to AWCC’s managing director, Amin Ramin, the company’s business and consumer clients will both benefit from having world class mobile wireless services in Helmand Province, which is one of the nation’s most active and fastest growing regions.
  4. 4. 3G Wireless Services • AWCC’s recent expansion of services will allow Helmand-based clients to access one of eight customizable service plans, which feature AWCC HD VOICE services for the clearest phone calls and a high definition network for extensive indoor coverage without dropped calls.

The solution enables uplink data rates that can reach 42 Mbps per cell.
