Virtual Private Network (VPN) <ul><li>VPN is now completely web-based, resources are accessibly anywhere, anytime without install additional software </li></ul><ul><li>Should you have problems with accessing resources such as e-journals, e-books please let us know immediately (Idris with copy to me) </li></ul><ul><li>For other access problems with commercial applications (SAS, Oracle) inform the helpdesk </li></ul><ul><li>Helpdesk also provides training for institutional applications, remote installations, configuration, updates and bug fixing. </li></ul><ul><li>Many problems can be fixed by directly logging into your computer </li></ul>

Other Audio/Video Conferencing <ul><li>For formal video conferencing, where quality is a must, CIAT and ICRAF both use professional Polycom equipment </li></ul><ul><li>For non-formal video/audio conferencing users have many options, such as Skype, however they all have their limitations </li></ul><ul><li>WebEx can provide the best of both worlds </li></ul>
