Purdue Strategic Doing Certificate Course | June 2014

  1. 1. Purdue Certificate Course ! June 18-20, 2014 ! West Lafayette, IN ! Contact: Peggy Hosea phosea@purdue.edu 877.882.7273 765.236.0955 ! The course is designed for professionals who want to learn how to design sophisticated collaborations and implement collaborative, agile strategies. Strategic Doing enables complex collaborations to form quickly, to move toward measurable outcomes, and to make adjustments along the way. It is a strategy process that follows “lean” principles: move quickly, experiment, figure out what works and expand it.  Participants in this course learn how to create these collaborations and to explain this new approach to strategy. They learn to guide a strategy process with no “command and control”. This intensive training enables participants to design and lead Strategic Doing workshops and convert the workshop exercises into a strategic action plan. Certification requirements include 30 hours of classroom/course work and 10-20 hours of field work. The Strategic Doing Coursework involves active learning with analyzing case studies, engaging in small-group interactions and observing a Strategic Doing session led by the faculty. Cost for certification is $1575. (Additional costs may be incurred for participants to complete their field work.) Purdue is an equal access /equal opportunity university.
