Integrated  Video-­‐conference  service  (SIVIC)      •  The  SIVIC  is  a  service  for  coordina3ng,  and  delivering   video-­‐conference  services  among  La3n-­‐American   NRENs.  The  concept  is  to  deliver  a  federated  service   with  the  same  standards  and  procedures  for  all   par3cipant  ins3tu3ons.

Video-­‐conference  service  challenges  •  Video-­‐conference  service  scheduling  and   coordina3on  are  complex  manual  processes.  •  Lack  of  quality/service  standardiza3on  across   different  ins3tu3ons  •  The  ins3tu3ons  do  not  manage  common  policies  and   procedures  video-­‐conference  services.
