Tourism <ul><li>Tourism is the industry involved in providing services for people whilst on holiday. </li></ul><ul><li>A tourist is a person who make a tour or visits a place for pleasure. </li></ul><ul><li>In 2003 international tourist arrivals number 691 million (up from 451 million in 1990). </li></ul><ul><li>In 2003 international tourist receipts were $523 billion dollars (up from $269 billion in 1990). </li></ul>
