  • The collection perse doesn’t work tools need to be connected and in an intelligent way
  • They may do less, but they can provide a better experience around a subset of the features, making them more effective and engaging.
  • In the corporate world, we are increasingly seeing mobile apps bringing data from multiple source systems, such as SAP, allowing the user to perform some actions on the data provided to their mobile device, and then syncing their changes back to both SAP and SharePoint, for example.
Think of the possibilities of Microsoft’s GigJam, as another example.
  • Remember telling people “Hey, I’ll have to check my calendar when I get back to the office”? Those days are long gone. Mobile allows us to work anywhere, anytime.
  • A great example of this is the growth in Facebook usage via mobile devices. In April 2014, Facebook announced that they had surpassed the 1 billion mark for monthly active users on phones and tablets.
