Guidance Toward Heaven
“Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive
me to glory” (Psalms 73:24).
The psalmist well understood that in order to be with God in
eternal glory after his life on earth, it was necessary to yield to
His divine guidance.
Heaven is a destination. It is our much desired destination.
We have never been there. Therefore we need a road map.
You probably do not need to go shopping for this map. Most
likely, you have it already. It is your Holy Bible.
God gave it to you to serve as a light unto your path, as you
travel toward eternity (Psalms 119:105).
Dependable counsel or instruction as to how to get to heaven
comes from only one source. It is God’s spiritual road map, His
guide book.
Do you really and truly wish to live in glory land after this
life? If so, you should not neglect to carefully listen to God’s
dependable counsel.
