  3. 3. Objectives Increase city's awareness on energy sustainibility Change citizen's habits througt more information and involving Make citizen and stakerholder an active part of city's SEAP Give a signicative help to CO2 emissions reduction

Strategy <ul><li>Involve citizens, schools, colleagues and stakeholder with win-win strategy </li></ul><ul><li>Involve actively sectors that usually communicate everyday with people (Public Relations Office – URP and Strategic Plan) </li></ul><ul><li>Find external Partnership to “finance” or help win – win strategy </li></ul><ul><li>Organise one launch event on 5 th June 2011 and two public events (spring – solar days and autumn – Ecomondo/ AmbienteFestival) every year </li></ul>

Citizens Testing a Sustainable awards for families partecipating to an educational project (ERRE come...Record) Idea Every Families is invited to perfom sustainable actions (engagements) Every sustainable action give an amount of points proportioned to CO2 emission reduction After six months who make more points wins a big prize (3three prize) and others receive a partecipation gadget during final award ceremony Development in ENGAGE Projec t First recruitment through educational project (partecipants are asked to be a testimonial in the ENGAGE canpaign) A Permanent families sustainable championship

Public Servants Official request to partecipate to the engagement through inter-departimental meetings Distribution of energy and water savings kit to partecipants during inter-dept meetings and by our URP Desk to recruit colleagues Training course and information leaflet on sustainability on working place As in the citizens engagements, start a championship for public servants (Sustainable Employ of the year)

Stakeholder Starting a project to develope a sort of “Yellow Pages of sustainability” for companies, craftman, technician, professional (Erre come Report) This way will be used to recruite them for engagements Bigger companies are asked partecipate actively to sponsor other “championships” with free services or goods Companies and other stakeholder engaged in actions have a new championship to win the title of Sustainable Company/Organisation of the year in its category (hotels, services, industries, schools, association,..)
  8. 8. Communication Use City Branding to enforce a local identity Partecipation of new mayor or deputy mayor in the award cerimony Sinergies with existing events: - European Solar days in May - International exhibition Ecomondo in november 1 st Engage day on 15-16 october during AmbienteFestival
  9. 9. Communication Promotional gadget to identify local campaign engege and CoM
