  2. 2. The Inuit live in the Arctic. The Arctic is in the far north, such as in Canada and Greenland.
  3. 3. <ul><li>In the winter it is very cold and it stays dark all day and all night. There is no sunlight to warm up the land. </li></ul><ul><li>In the summer, the sun stays up for the whole day. But it is still very chilly! </li></ul>
  4. 4. <ul><li>The Inuit wear nannuk polar bear skin trousers. They also wear qulittaq , which is a winter jacket made of caribou skin. For shoes, the Inuit wear kamik , a special kind of boot. The soles are made of bearded sealskin and the boots have an inner sock of soft sheepskin. </li></ul>

They are nomadic, which means that they move to find food. </li></ul><ul><li>Their main foods are caribou, walrus, fish, whale skin, and seal liver. There is a lot of protein and fat in their diet and the whale skin and seal liver has as much vitamin C as oranges. </li></ul>
