Abidjan | Mar 17 | Tariff Policy and Regulation

  1. 1. TARIFF POLICY AND REGULATION Current situation: 2 mini-grids projects (Vale da Custa e Monte Trigo) with renewable energy (wind and solar). Public and private management. Non regulated tariffs. Proposal not yet adopted: • Final tariff must be equal to the national tariff; • In case that the revenues collected by the microgrid operators don’t cover the production costs, a cross-subsidy will be applied to the national tariff; • a pre-payment meter will be installed in the microgrids.
