  3. 3. Advisory Taskforces and Committees Winter:  Start-Time  Magnet Schools  Strategic Plan for Arts  Digital Learning  Facilities Ongoing:  Special Education  Human Resources

Notes Start-Time Committee is co-facilitated by Jeanie Luckey and Donna Caperton  Focused on grades K-8 Magnet School Committee is facilitated by Scott Sypkens from San Diego County Office of Education  Subcommittee specific to VAVPA, Washington, and Vista Magnet Middle to have recommendation by March

More Notes Facilities Committee facilitated by Eric Hall  Will be organized by “quadrants” tied to Middle Schools Digital Learning facilitated by Larry White and Dewayne Cossey with support from San Diego County Office of Education  Will use “eLearning Framework” as guiding resource Strategic Plan for the Arts facilitated by Merryl Goldberg from California State University San Marcos

Ongoing Taskforces Special Education Taskforce is facilitated by Melinda Pierson from California State University Fullerton Human Resources Taskforce is facilitated by Michele Fort-Merill from San Diego County Office of Education Both of these groups are reviewing, analyzing, and providing recommendations tied to external studies of our services  Special Ed: FCMAT  Human Resources: MAT
  7. 7. Timelines Committees have formed or are forming now Updates to be posted online Recommendations will be coming from Advisory Committees/Taskforces to the Superintendent in Spring Superintendent will present recommendations to School Board
