Hello, my name is David Roe and I am the product manager for WhatClinic.com – a website where over 6 million people visit each year to find and choose a clinic for their elective health needs – be it dental, cosmetic, fertility or other elective treatment
6 Million people?? What are they looking for? Who are our customers. They have 6 Million different reasons to visit WhatClinic. Tattoo removal, trying to get a better price for expensive dental treatment, They’ve moved to a new town and want to find a new physiotherapist, They need X rays or an MRI and want a good price, They’re getting married and want a birthmark removed, or hair transplant for their future husband. Going about this isn’t easy in the private health space. Often a GP has no better idea than you do yourself on where to go or what is available or how much it will cost. People want to find out what your options are and they want to do so privately, in their own time and without committing themselves before they’re ready. This is where we come in.

Private health doesn’t work quite like any other industry or service. Many clinics, while excellent medically, do not offer good customer service. We follow up every query, soliciting feedback from our users, informing the clinics when they do well or badly, doing all we can to ensure that patients find what they are looking for. This can often be a long process, which may involve contacting and following up With many clinics, but people are delighted when they are successful, and clinics Are delighted with the service we offer, allowing them to target their marketing spend towards the patients they want to reach, and assisting them through the consultion process and on to appointments.
