Author and illustrator, Kevin Henkes was born in 1960 in Racine, Wisconsin.Henkes is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison.He lives in Madison, Wisconsin, with his wife, Laura Dronzek, and their two children. Henkes is author and illustrator of children's picture books, many of which feature little mice as their main characters. He also writes young-adult fiction.Henkes' first book, All Alone, was published in 1981<br />Kevin loved going to the library when he was little!!!<br />

Children can look up the meanings of their names with their parents and share a special story about their name.
The names and stories can also be displayed on a bulletin board.</li></ul>This book can also be used when teaching a lesson on bullying and self-esteem<br />
