Victorian era

  2. 2.  In the Victorian era, the furniture was changed to a distinct different style. From 1840-1900 was around when they changed.
  3. 3. There werestyles like“GothicRevival,” “TheBritish housesof Parliament,”and others thatmixed differentstyles for alltypes offurniture.
  4. 4.  Dressers and nightstands are usually wooden with a neat crafting/carving.
  5. 5. The lamp below isa pretty goodexample of the style“Gothic Revival.” This one looks like mixed styles.
  6. 6.  As you can see, Victorian furniture is very different then most furniture as it was intended to be. VS
  7. 7. The one on the left looks like a ton of differentstyles. The one on the right looks somewhatgothic but with nice carvings and decorations.
  8. 8.  I personally think that the Victorian furniture is pretty neat because of the different contrasting styles. It would have been cool to live in the Victorian era.
