Recess Integration 2014 Briefing

  1. 1. What’s the purpose of this integration? To get to know your Pathlight friends and to understand them and to eventually exchange contact details and to develop friendships beyond integration.
  2. 2. To understand your Pathlight friends They have a condition called Autism. They are no different from you but have different abilities.

Speak clearly and at the right speed 4. Give them some time to respond 5. Don’t raise your voice (it may make them feel uncomfortable) All rights reserved.   12. 12. Points to Note Students going over to Pathlight for recess •Listen to your teachers’ instructions. • After eating your food, you will join in the activities that have been planned for you. Play together with the Pathlighters
  13. 13. Points to Note Students going over to Pathlight for recess • NOT ALLOWED to have any takeaways from the Pathlight Sch Canteen as the amount of food prepared is just adequate.
  14. 14. Points to Note Students going over to Pathlight for recess • NOT ALLOWED to bring any souvenirs such as glass bottles back from the Pathlight Sch Canteen as they can pose as dangerous weapons if they fall into the wrong hands.

  24. 24. Points to Note Students hosting the Pathlighters • Walk with them to the canteen and buy your food. You will have about 15 minutes to eat. • Then proceed to the hall to play the games that your teachers have planned.
