  2. 2. ZOOM! Teeth Whitening (Part 1) §  Virtually all celebs whiten their teeth. In fact, teeth whitening is the #1 most requested procedure from my celeb clients. Some celebs are even obsessed with whitening, like Omarosa from The Apprentice who recently mentioned on the Discovery Health show Plastic Surgery: Before and After that she “can’t get enough” of it. §  When I was the spokesperson for Aquafresh, I was able to give tons of A-list stars teeth whitening products to keep their smiles bright. Actress America Ferrera of Ugly Betty even had her white smile insured for 1 million dollars! Teeth whitening is the most popular and cost effective procedures that can give you an instant A-List smile like the stars.
  3. 3. ZOOM! Teeth Whitening (Part 1) §  Teeth whitening is also one of the quickest, most popular and non- invasive ways to improve the appearance of your smile. If your teeth are not their brightest due to beverage stains, antibiotic use or simply the effects of time, teeth whitening may be the solution. Teeth whitening technology makes it easy for you to safely and effectively brighten your teeth, eliminating discolorations and enhancing your overall appearance. §  To dramatically whiten your teeth, most dental experts now use ZOOM!, one of the leading teeth whitening systems available. With the ZOOM! gel and light-activated whitening system, we can actually lighten the color of your teeth an average of eight shades in just under an hour.
  4. 4. ZOOM! Teeth Whitening (Part 1) How does the procedure work? §  To determine if you are a candidate for teeth whitening, your dentist will examine the health of your teeth and gums, the color of your teeth and look for any potential roadblocks that may affect the outcome of the whitening results such as the presence of visible bondings or crowns on your front teeth that will not lighten during the whitening procedure. If there are stains, plaque or tartar on your teeth, you may be required to have a professional teeth cleaning prior to your whitening treatment. If there are extremely large cavities present, you may be required to repair them first before cosmetically enhancing your smile with teeth whitening to avoid complications.
  5. 5. ZOOM! Teeth Whitening (Part 1) §  To begin the procedure, your dentist will take “before” photos that will be used to later compare the initial color of your teeth to the final color after whitening. §  Next, your dentist will begin protecting your cheeks, lips and gums with barrier materials so that only your teeth are exposed. §  The ZOOM! peroxide teeth whitening gel is applied directly to the teeth and activated by the ZOOM! whitening lamp. §  The gel is applied to the teeth 4 times for 15 minutes each session to total 1 hour. While you relax each 15 minute session, many dentists even let you view a movie on a monitor, or listen to music on headsets. In the meantime, the peroxide teeth whitening gel is foaming and working in the layer below the tooth’s enamel to get them their whitest. After the 4th session, your dentist will take “after” photos to show you just how much whiter your teeth are following treatment. Our patients are always thrilled with the results.
