Presentation 1: Whole class activity.  Teacher shows the story of “The Lion and The Mouse”.  Teacher shows the pictures of the story and tell the story.  Teacher asks the pupils to read the story. The Lion and The MouseA long time ago, there was a lion leaves in the jungle.One day, the lion was sleeping.He woke up when a mouse ran over his face.The lion caught the mouse angrily.The mouse said, “oh, please, please let me go!”“Why?” said the lion.“I will do a favour for you’” said the mouse.Ha …ha…You?...Then, the lion let the mouse go.Two days later, the mouse heard a sound behind the trees.“Help, help, help”The lion was caught in the hunter’s net!“Help me…please….”The mouse began to bite the net. He saved the lion.“Thank you, thank you my friend!” the lion cried.They became a good friend.Presentation 2:  Teacher shows the pictures of the story one by one.  Teacher asks questions on the story.(each picture)
  5. 5.  Teacher asks the pupils to match the pictures to the correct sentences.  Pupils retell the story.Production: Group work activity.  Teacher divides the pupils into group of 5.  Teacher asks each group to have a leader.  Teacher gives the instruction. 1. Each group will be given a manila card, glue, and envelope with the picture puzzle and the sentence strips. 2. Every group members must cooperate with each other to match the pictures puzzle. 3. Then, all the members must discuss and match the sentence strips to the correct pictures according to the story line. 4. Every group should finish it in 20 minutes. The group with the correct answers with the less time is the winner. 5. Every group will come out to present their work. 6. The winner group will be given a bookmark each as a reward. The loser groups will be given stickers for their effort.Closure:  Teacher tells the moral value from the story learn or heard. “we must help each other”.  Teacher distributes worksheets for the pupils to do as a homework. Fill in the blanks with the correct answer. One day, a ____________ was sleeping. Suddenly, a ______________ran over his face. The lion was very _____________. Two days later, a __________________ catch the __________. The ________________ saved the lion. They became a ______________ ____________.
