My original background is in Medical Biochemistry and basic drug discovery, FDA compliance, QA/QC, and validations issues. Over the years, due to the changing and unstable industry, my focus has changed from the hard sciences to education.
I have spent the past eight years at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine supporting the Department of Biochemistry / Molecular Biology, The Graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences, several of the medical courses, as well as doing academic research. This research on end of life issues has been presented at two national meetings and should be published later in 2012.
