Shortness of breath after running is a common symptom experienced by many. It occurs as the body recovers from the increased oxygen demand of exercise. Most cases of shortness of breath after running are not serious and will resolve on their own as the body recovers, but it's a good idea to see a doctor if it persists or is accompanied by chest pain.
