 Make your own <br />  Origami Crane.<br />
begin with a square sheet of paper and fold it in half diagonally<br />
repeat the same fold in the opposite direction to make a cross<br />
now turn the paper over and fold it squarely in half<br />
then again in the other direction to make a star on the paper… easy!<br />
now a little trickier - lay the paper flat like and pull the fold the two side corners into the base<br />
do you see what I mean?<br />
 it will fold down flat on itself to make a smaller square<br />
fold each outward corner into the centre of the square<br />(remember to keep the open edges at the small end of the fold ...
now you have made an origami kite base<br />
unfold the four new folds and turn them inside out<br />(just like the tricky bit of stage 5 and 6)<br />
you have now reached your second base – the diamond<br />
take the flaps from the base of the kite and fold them back on themselves then flatten it out <br />
fold the outer corners into the centre as you did to make the kite  (remember keep the open end at the small bit of the fo...
repeat for all four sides<br />
the leggy diamond!<br />
now bring each of the new flaps together on each side and flatten <br />
the fox head!<br />
fold the foxes nose up to it’s ears, repeat for the other side<br />
almost there.. pull out the head and tail to the correct angle and squeeze hard at the join to fix them in place<br />
fold the tip of one side inwards and down to give him a little head<br />
like this<br />
fold down the wings<br />
plump him up a bit by pulling the wings out<br />
and there he is… your origami crane! <br />now repeat these steps 999 times for enlightenment<br />
